Accepting new markets

About

Operators First.

Our desk sits inside a paint protection film, ceramic coating and tint shop. We understand the work, and we understand the business around the work.

Background

We Work Inside the Shop, Not Just the Ad Account.

Seven years marketing this industry and nothing else, alongside a partner with more than ten years working in it. We are not a shop ourselves. Our desk is inside one.

01

We know what happens after the lead

Quoting, scheduling, capacity, lead quality and follow-up. The parts of growth that never appear in an ad platform, and the parts that decide whether a busy month was a good one.

02

We only work in this industry

Not restaurants, not dentists, not general small business. The buyer behavior we build around is the one we have sold to directly.

03

We care past the campaign metrics

A month of cheap leads the shop cannot produce profitably is not a result. Revenue and capacity are the measures that matter.

04

We build for long partnerships

Strategy is built around the shop's capacity, services, goals and market, which only works if we are still there in twelve months.

The people behind the work

You should not have to teach us your own trade.

The shop floor side

More than ten years working in this trade.

Customers, quoting, capacity, scheduling and margin. The part that decides whether a full calendar is a good month or an expensive one.

The growth side

Seven years marketing protection and detailing shops, and nothing else.

Position, demand, conversion and tracking, built for the shop that exists rather than the one a template assumes.

One knows what has to happen in the bay. The other knows what has to happen before the car gets there. Our desk sits inside a working automotive appearance shop, not an office park.

Where we sit

Close Enough to Hear the Quotes Going Out.

We hear which ones go quiet, and we know what the bay can actually produce in a week. Those are not theories to us.

How we work

One Shop Per Market.

We do not work with competing shops in the same market. If an area is taken, we say so early.

Exclusivity is not a sales device. It is the only way to build a strategy properly. Two shops in one market means either the same playbook run twice, or one client quietly getting the weaker version of it.

It also means we turn work away, which is a real cost and the reason we check the market before anything else. It qualifies both directions, and it is why the first answer you get from us is sometimes no.

How we work

The Standards We Hold Ourselves To.

Most owners reading this have paid someone before and got generic campaigns, low intent leads and vague reporting. These are the specific things we do differently, stated so you can hold us to them.

01

We take the whole path, or we call it a project

Position, visibility, the site, follow-up and the tracking that proves what happened. Not one channel with the gaps between them left to you, because that is where most of the lost revenue actually sits. If you want a single piece run on its own we will still do it, priced as a project on the systems page, and we will say plainly that it is not the same job.

02

No promised number, from us or anyone

Not a revenue figure, not a ranking, not a lead count, not a success rate, not an average return. Nobody controls your market, your capacity, your pricing and who answers your phone, so nobody can honestly promise what comes out of them. Anyone who does is guessing in a confident voice.

03

The price is on the site

$2,500, $4,500 and $7,500 a month, for the whole engagement. You should not have to sit through a call to find out whether you can afford someone.

04

The exclusions are on the site too

What is not in each system is written down next to what is. Unclear scope costs shops as much as unclear price, and it is the thing that turns into an argument in month three.

05

We will tell you not to hire us

There is a section on this site that names four situations where you should spend the money somewhere else, including the cheaper tool to go buy instead. We take one shop per market, so a bad fit costs us the whole market for a year.

06

The only guarantee is on our own work

If the tracking, follow-up and lead flow are not live and producing attributable leads within 90 days, billing stops until they are. We control every input to that. That is exactly why we will put it in writing and will not put a revenue figure in writing.

Nothing you cannot check

You Have Seen the Price, the Scope and the People We Turn Away.

That is everything we can tell you without looking at your shop. Send us the business and we will confirm whether your market is open, look at it honestly, and tell you whether we believe we can help. We take one shop per market, so the answer is sometimes no.

No hard sell. No instant calendar ambush. A real review from people who know the industry.
